PowerPoint Presentation Specialist

Your role
Do you have an eye for detail? Are you an advanced MS Office user with strong layout skills? Do you thrive in a fast paced environment?

We're looking for a PowerPoint Specialist (note: this is not a Designer Role) to support the Investment Bank's Global Banking department.

You will be responsible for creating and editing Pitchbook slides using the UBS inhouse plugins whilst displaying exceptional customer service skills and fostering an environment of teamwork.

Your role will be to maintain brand standards and consistency of message and design across a variety of mediums, often whilst working on multiple assignments with competing deadlines.

We are looking for someone who has:

An eye for detail to ensure that all desktop requests are to a high standard and in accordance with corporate brand standards
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with stake holders when managing workflow and competing deadlines
Flexibility and resilience when working within tight timeframes
Robust team player able to work independently within a small team, who also enjoys engagement with user base
Ability to convert and format numerical data, charts, text, and other visual graphic elements quickly and accurately
Keep uptodate records for each project in a workflow database

Your team

You will be part of a Presentations team of three, reporting to the Presentations Team Leader supporting the Global Banking business in Australia and New Zealand.

The Presentations team plays an important role in creating a wide range of high-quality marketing material within UBS branding guidelines: presentations, pitch books, bid submissions, invitations, flyers, posters, and brochures using Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).

You'll enjoy being involved in all aspects from collaborating with the workflow to ensuring the team provide a consistent and high quality level of service.

Your expertise

Previous experience working in an investment bank or financial services firm is advantageous
35 years experience in a presentations role working in a highpaced, deadline driven environment
35 years of desktop publishing experience, with ability to learn inhouse software quickly
Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and proficient user of the Adobe Creative Suite
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a simple and comprehensive way
Solutionorientated and accustomed to tight deadlines
Professional and proactive, you are able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and be able to achieve the desired outcomes
Strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately within a corporate brand and fastpaced environment and develop an understanding of the broader communication needs of the internal client base
