We're looking for an Asset Transfer Specialist to:

Be a role model for the organisations principles and behaviours, inspire others to do the same
Understand the risks associated with your business and function.
Liaise with transfer counterparty to negotiate and agree on transfer details and timeline, following up to ensure smooth settlement.
Be responsible for processing all instructions in accordance with the trade details and ensure accuracy in the SWIFT instruction sent to custodian by EOD.
Maintain and ensure that all trade documentation is properly filed and archived
Have the ability to liaise with custodians/counterparties/front office to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
Supporting change by identifying and implementing process improvements or cost saving opportunities.
Ongoing selfdevelopment/cross training across Operations.

Your team
You'll be working in the Wealth Management Asset Transfers team based in Sydney. The team handles the security asset onboarding process for Wealth Management clients.

Asset transfers require timely processing while maintaining a high standard of control and accuracy; the team also ensures any queries and coordination required are followed up timely and expertly.

Your expertise

Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Knowledge of Securities Settlement Processes will be highly valued.
Have a strong risk mindset and be able to escalate issues and be transparent.
People management experience.
Strong time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Innovative and able to drive results.
Strong teamwork skill to collaborate with internal and external teams. Be able to demonstrate a strong partnership and inclusive to all team members.
