    Our client is a large, well-known National law firm with offices also in New Zealand, Singapore & Malaysia. They're a thriving, fast-paced and highly regarded Corporate Commercial Team. They are now able to offer an exciting career opportunity based in their Melbourne office to a talented Commercial Lawyer, at around Associate level, who is looking for their next significant career move

    About this opportunity...
    In this role you will enjoy working on a variety of stimulating, often complex & high value corporate commercial matters including M&A, business structuring,contracts, corporate governance & regulation and more working alongside approachable Partners & other colleagues within a great team.

    Here you will enjoy the well resourced, fast-paced, inclusive & collaborative culture of the practice group. As a key player in this team – this is very much a 'hands on' role offering direct contact with an interesting mix of clientele, where you will have both autonomy and support to further develop your skillset and expertise.

    About you...
    Ideal candidates will have:-

    • 5-7 years PAE in Corporate/Commercial law e.g. advising on transactional matters incl. business acquisitions & structuring, some exp. in commercial property & revenue law advantageous together with other areas such as those outlined above; ideally gained in a 'mid-tier' or recognised specialist Commercial practice;
    • Strong sense of commerciality, solid technical & advisory skills;
    • Highly developed, effective communication skills -both written & oral;
    • Solid leadership skills in order to assist others in a team environment; and
    • Excellent organisational skills -ability to multi task and manage competing priorities.
