- Responsibilities include software, hardware, services, and Labour Hire procurement
- Procurement of software, hardware, services, and Labour Hire.
- Handling ICT procurement encompassing telecommunications and managed services.
- Managing ICT contracts.
- Managing ICT procurement such as obtaining quotes from suppliers, securing approvals, overseeing procurement processes, and handling commercial queries linked to projects.
- Ensuring the renewal of ICT procurement by verifying renewal details for accuracy and validity.
- Enhancing the Commercial Management Framework by establishing and upholding policies, procedures, strategies, tools, and standards regarding ICT procurement.
- Offering expert advice on potential efficiencies by assessing current and future internal and government-wide agreements and panels.
- Demonstrated experience in Commonwealth procurement within a sizable organization, including familiarity with the CPRs. Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and analyzing information from various channels, embracing new concepts in procurement. Demonstrating commitment to continuous enhancement, delivering on set objectives, and exercising sound judgment throughout assignments. Possessing top-notch written and verbal communication abilities. Demonstrated procurement skills in the ICT realm.
- Capacity to establish and nurture positive working relationships within the department. Ability to educate and guide departmental staff on procurement practices and protocols.
