About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Operations Administration Officer to join our Melbourne based team.


Reporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor this role will be responsible for a range of activities that support the operations team to ensure the effective utilisation of machinery, the maintenance and improvement of facilities, the coordination of contractors and administrative support to enable the operations team and wider site to function efficiently and adequately.


You will:

  • Oversee service request system and assist in setting priorities based on changing business requirements
  • Assist to ensure the preventative maintenance program is actioned to support the continued safe and efficient
operations in warehouse and production

  • Liaising with managers, employees, contractors and third parties to ensure sites are safe, secure
and maintained to an organisational accepted level

  • Support with preparing and maintaining budgets and developing plans for approval of capital expenditure
  • Reviewing and updating corrective action requests to recommend or implement actions
to address raised concerns

  • Working with production planners to schedule and update customers on delivery expectations for their orders
  • Liaise with service contractors on site including documentation, inductions and scheduling of work
  • Support the stores functions of the department that include tooling, spare parts, PPE and consumables
  • Working with operational departments on projects such as cost reduction, document control, improvement
of processes and employee training
