The Opportunity:


The role of Junior Buyer is to strategically plan to maximise a product category/brands, under the guidance of the Category Manager or Merchandise Manager.

This includes generating effective programming, web and catalogue opportunities within budget, Quality Assurance and time requirements.

Sourcing a range and mix of product that is in line with the brand strategy, the category strategy and customer profile in order to maximise revenues and ensure budgets and productivity targets are met.


Key Responsibilities:


The Junior Buyer is responsible for Revenue, GP%, GP$$, Productivity, Inventory and GMROI and the management of the OTB of the nominated category, under the leadership and supervision of the Category Manager.

The Junior Buyer works within the Merchandise Team and liaises and interacts with various other internal partners as well as external partners to ensure the success of the category.


Skills & Experience:

  • Around 23 years' experience buying / managing your own vendors as either a Junior Buyer; or Assistant Buyer
  • Analytical abilities.

The position will be located at the brands' Sydney HQ with on site parking.
