    EDQ has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Planner (AO6) to join the Infrastructure Planning team.

    Watch this video to learn more about our recent work and achievements: The Infrastructure Planning team within EDQ Infrastructure Services leads the planning, funding and delivery of sustainable infrastructure within our Priority Development Areas (PDAs), and facilitates a pipeline of strategic projects by identifying infrastructure and service needs to ensure PDAs are appropriately positioned for development to occur.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Planner to participate in the delivery of key development projects by contributing to the development of Infrastructure Plans and funding frameworks which ensure PDA growth is underpinned by essential infrastructure delivery.

    Specific duties are detailed in the attached Role Description, including:

    • providing specialist infrastructure planning advice as required to progress key elements of infrastructure strategy, planning, facilitation, policy development and funding solutions, and the range of infrastructure planning project work undertaken across EDQs interests
    • assessing, evaluating, analysing and providing timely recommendations for the review and update of infrastructure network planning for PDAs, and prepare required policy and background documentation
    • working collaboratively with stakeholders to lead and deliver critical government infrastructure projects to achieve EDQ Infrastructure's objectives of facilitating economic development and development for community purposes that benefit the Queensland community through the delivery of key infrastructure
    • developing and implementing monitoring and tracking tools and setting up processes to ensure the Minister for Economic Development Queensland and other relevant parties are meeting obligations as set out in existing Infrastructure Agreements.
    • preparing timely and well researched briefings analysis and interpretation, reports and correspondence and undertake related project, procurement, contract management activities
    • managing the development of cashflow forecast modelling for the delivery of trunk infrastructure to priority development areas (PDAs).
    Providing advice to managers, directors and senior executives on the outcomes and key findings of the modelling processes.
