About the Role


McConnell Dowell has an exciting opportunity for a Project Planner to join the Archer River Bridge Project team, based in our Fortitude Valley office.


  • The position of Project Planner will see out the full life of the project with future opportunities available within the wider McConnell Dowell business.
  • As the Planner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the planning and controls functions for the project.
  • Establish and maintain accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements.
  • Update schedules on a regular basis to accurately reflect current status of progress.
  • Provide assistance to Engineers on scheduling requirements.
  • Identification of potential time impact issues.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of project planning systems, in particular Primavera Software
  • Knowledge of risk management systems.
  • Competent in planning and organising work schedules.
  • Previous experience on pipeline projects highly regarded.
