From roads, bridges, and utilities, to berths, wharves, and the new Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, our precinct offers a diverse range of projects to work on.


As the Infrastructure Maintenance Planner, you'll join an experienced team responsible for delivering critical capital projects, as well as planned and responsive repairs and maintenance across the precinct.

In this position, you'll:

  • Create short term plans for infrastructure maintenance activities across the Port including development of an annual works program.
  • Coordinate the implementation of Asset Management and Infrastructure Maintenance Planning for all infrastructure facilities assets through their full design lifecycle.
  • Be responsible for ensuring level of service and maintenance response time objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement PPM schedules and task lists for all asset classes.
  • Produce scheduled work orders to deliver timely and effective maintenance for Port Assets.
  • Use RCM methodology to develop and implement maintenance strategies for new equipment, and PM optimisation for existing maintenance strategies on equipment that is not meeting availability or reliability requirements.
  • Develop and implement the predictive maintenance program through the asset strategy optimisation process.
  • Ensure planned work tasks are adequately resourced and completed within scheduled time frames.
  • Review inspection, conditionbased assessment, and repair reports; observe progress of scheduled maintenance to evaluate work efficiency and quality.

Experienced, willing, and with great attention to detail: Here's who we're looking for.

  • You're experienced in Infrastructure Maintenance Planning, with a trade background in utilities and some infrastructure experience.
  • You'll have proven experience in maintenance planning for infrastructure assets.
  • You're passionate and have exceptional organisation skills with an ability to adapt when needed this is important to us
  • You're experienced in the use of computerised maintenance management systems particularly in the role of system administrator, experience working in a systemised environment will be beneficial.
  • You are someone who brings a continuous improvement lens to your role and keeps abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the maintenance world.
  • You have an effective and engaging communication style to suit varied stakeholders.
  • You enjoy working independently as well as collaboratively with a team that support each other to bring out the best.
