The opportunity:

AIA Australia's Group Insurance channel is a specialist provider of group risk products and solutions and is responsible for managing the relationships of over 300 superannuation funds and corporate schemes.

As the Product Manager, you will deliver value-adding and innovative product solutions for AIA's key strategic clients and develop sustainable group product terms and conditions.

Reporting to the Group Product Business Partner, you will join a small team of product experts who are dedicated to delivering great outcomes for our clients and contributing to our purpose of helping people embrace Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

This is a permanent, full-time position located in either Sydney or Melbourne.

To do this successfully you will:

Develop and contribute sustainable product solutions to improve the claims experience and support business growth by delivering on product requirements
Develop and draft Policy Documents for key group insurance partners
Conduct competitor research to identify areas of opportunity to improve member outcomes and enhancements
Partner with various internal and external stakeholders to develop and negotiate product changes
Provide risk assessment and product terms on new business opportunities
Experience working in superannuation or life insurance ideally in a group or retail product management role
Knowledge of the Australian group insurance market is preferred
A natural ability to build strong relationships and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
An analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
