Southern Cross Care QLD is currently looking for you to join our Southern Cross Care QLD family in the role of a Registered Nurse based at our Castra Residential Aged Care Home, in the beautiful township of Murgon.
Murgon offers a tree-change due to its location in the South Burnett Region of Southeast Queensland; just a 2 – 3-hour drive from major coastal centres and Brisbane and approximately 1 hour drive west from Gympie QLD.

In this role, as a Registered Nurse you will provide the highest standard in person centred care, sharing your knowledge of best practice in monitoring and assisting in the care of our residents. You will work under the direction of a strong Clinical Manager aligned with contemporary practice, to provide advanced clinical and holistic care to our residents. Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago. They saw a need to provide compassionate care and inclusive service to some of the most vulnerable, the ageing population, in the community.
Since then, SCCQ has grown to employ over 1000 staff caring for and supporting more than 2000 people across 13 residential aged care homes, 5 retirement villages, 28 social houses, the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and home care services in metropolitan and rural Queensland.
