City Venue Management is a facility management company managing Aquatic Centres & Health Clubs stretching from the Gold Coast through to the Sunshine Coast.

We currently operate 36 sites across Queensland and continue to grow and develop with each passing day. Our purpose is

What are we looking for?

  • We're looking for an experienced and handson Maintenance Person to join our Repairs and Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Project Manager, this fulltime role plays a pivotal part in keeping CVM's venues in tiptop shape, ensuring the facilities and grounds are kept in good working order and are presented well at all times.

Key Requirements

  • General knowledge and ability to work with numerous hand and power tools (All tools will be provided)
  • 2 years + experience in repairs and maintenance work
  • General carpentry and painting experience
  • Basic plumbing knowledge
  • Proficiency in the use of basic software, including the use of repairs and maintenance reporting (experience using Mojo Helpdesk is beneficial)
  • Current Blue Card (Working with children check) or ability to obtain before commencement

Key Skills

  • Physically fit heavy lifting, long days outside and on the road driving (Gold Coast, Gore, Brisbane, Toowoomba & Sunshine Coast) and a generally physically demanding role that requires stamina and endurance
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple R&M jobs simultaneously
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn information into insight and action
