The Employer
West Recruitment is currently partnering with a community based organisation in the NFP sector that has been helping the local community for over 30 years.
Lead by a passionate group of professionals who want to give back to their community, this organisation is about to embark on an exciting period of growth that will see a new initiatives.
The Opportunity
As part of this growth journey, an opening has been created for a proven Finance Manager to join the leadership team.
This is a greenfield role that offers the autonomy to design the finance and reporting function to best service the needs of this growing organisation.
Some of the key tasks aligned to this position will include:Ownership of transactional accounting function
Preparation of month end reports including reconciliations
Statutory reporting (GST / BAS / Payroll tax)
Preparation of Budgets & Forecasts
Design management reporting package to present monthly
The Successful Applicant
Will hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA / CA or similar)
Has broad skills across both financial and management accounting and has strong attention to detail.
Comes with Not For Profit (NFP) industry experience gained within a charity or community based organisation.
Is skilled with MS Excel and is familiar with MYOB / Xero or a similar accounting package.
This role would ideally suit a working parent that is looking for a role that will utilise their finance skills and business acumen whilst supporting a work / life balance.
