Job Description

his Practices team takes a leading role in the "how" we deliver products and services for use by the business and the customers, viewers, readers and listeners of Nine brands. It is the center of excellence managing and promoting a continuous improvement culture to implement agile and lean methodologies within teams and promoting consistency of the product development life cycle across Product Engineering.

The Delivery Practice Lead is accountable for the effectiveness and growth of all delivery process aspects within cross-functional teams in Product Engineering.

This position requires regular interactions with Business Stakeholders and Product Owners to have an up to date view of initiatives' pipeline and implement a consistent initiative lifecycle across Product Engineering.

You will work closely with Engineering Managers, IIteration Managers, and Product Owners to help them effectively plan and run projects, including maintaining a backlog, developing a roadmap, prioritising work with stakeholders, reporting on progress, allocating costs and creating a delivery structure that encourages sustainable development across a longer time horizon.

The focus of this role is to guide others in how best to deliver - you'll be working at a high level across more than 30 squads. As apart of this position, you'll:

Mentor a subset of the iteration managers and maintain a view of how iteration managers are contributing across the wider organisation

Identify and arrange the trainings for delivery team members

Regular updates to senior management about how current delivery processes are working and when required suggest tweaks or alternate approaches

Qualifications

Ideally you are someone with experience in:

Leading Delivery Practice at enterprise scale

Driving Agile delivery practice and fostering an iterative culture of continuous improvement

Are comfortable working alongside senior stakeholders, across a variety of business units

Manage inter-team dependencies to ensure successful outcomes

Mentoring/Guiding staff with different levels of experience

Broad exposure to several flavors of Agile
