About Your Role

As part of our Vehicles and Tactical Systems business, our Protected Vehicles team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale.

Based at our Eagle Farm (Brisbane) location, you will play a pivotal role as you lead from the front in managing a variety key responsibilities across our Service & Support focused operations.

Our world-class facilities are driven by our passionate workforce that supports requirements across both the Bushmaster and Hawkei Protected Military Vehicle platforms.

Your exciting new career opportunity will see you;

Managing key responsibilities for operational performance and delivery including; all Service Centres, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Facilities and Security Management and other contractual/statutory requirements
Continuing the growth and efficiency of existing organisational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain Service and Support capacity and capabilities within an evolving market full of opportunity
Managing budgets associated with; Capital Expenditure, Business Continuity Management, Operations Management and Security/Facilities
Operating with a strategic mindset to ensure the business is operating at a level that is able to meet both current and future needs, focused on the delivery of customer focused solutions, continuous improvement initiatives and other transformational change programs that support a highperformance culture
Forming and maintaining close partnerships with senior leaders and other key stakeholders including; HSE, Quality, Finance, Business Development, Bid Management, Engineering, Trades/Production and other functions
With the support of dedicated resources, overseeing compliance and managing associated risks as you role model our Leadership behaviours and effectively maintain standards within high risk environment/s
Travel when required, primarily to interstate locations to support adhoc requirements and other projects

How About You?

Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with extensive experience in a similar senior operations management position
Proven leadership capabilities in managing the performance and delivery of diverse groups within similar largescale organisations and / or business operations
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence others and achieve outcomes through people
Passionate approach and leadership experience in relation to HSE, Quality and Business Improvement
Success in achieving tangible results in support of business objectives within a commercial setting
Welldeveloped project management skills with the ability to deliver against both operational and strategic priorities
Those with relevant additional postgraduate qualifications will be viewed favourably
