The Position
The
PMO Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the essential administrative functions. The PMO Manager supervises resources across; Contract Management, SAP, Data Analytics, Data Management and Master Scheduling teams. The position requires strong leadership skills to provide effective systems, analysis, and contract management services.

Key responsibilities;

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and track project progress
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality through effective project management practices
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
  • Manage project resources, including project teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards
  • Continuously improve PMO procedures and adhere to Thales processes

About You

  • CPPM (Chartered Practicing Project Manager) or CPPD (Chartered Practicing Project Director)
  • Proven experience in a similar senior Project Management / PMO position
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with previous experience in effectively leading diverse teams
  • Proficient in project management tools, ideally with ASDEFCON experience
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders and ensure contract / business success

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
