This position is located in beautiful Geraldton, a coastal city in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, 424 kilometres north of the state capital, Perth.

What a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire staff and continue to build on the service's strong foundations to create a tremendous centre for children to learn and grow.


Applicants must have:


The ideal applicant will hold a Diploma in Early Childhood recognised by ACECQA and a current Working with Children Check.

With a demonstrated Early Childhood philosophy, supported by an age-responsive approach to teaching and learning, you will share our commitment to inspiring the children in our care to reach their full potential.


  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education as recognised by ACECQA
  • Proof of assessment by ACECQA for all overseas qualifications
  • Must have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Current working with children, check
  • Double Covid19 Vaccination
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • National police clearance
  • The successful applicant may be required to undergo and pass: A preemployment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Your Primary Responsibilities will include:


  • Establishing, nurturing, and fostering collaborative partnerships with families and communities to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children
  • Partaking in professional performance and practice strategies to improve performance capabilities and further professional learning
  • Engaging in shared, sustained interactions with children to build warm and trusting relationships
  • Working collaboratively with the Centre Director to create and implement individualised learning plans
  • Complete curriculum planning and reflection
