This position is located in beautiful Geraldton, a coastal city in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, 424 kilometres north of the state capital, Perth.

What a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire staff and continue to build on the service's strong foundations to create a tremendous centre for children to learn and grow.

Applicants must have:

The ideal applicant will hold a Diploma in Early Childhood recognised by ACECQA and a current Working with Children Check.

With a demonstrated Early Childhood philosophy, supported by an age-responsive approach to teaching and learning, you will share our commitment to inspiring the children in our care to reach their full potential.

Diploma in Early Childhood Education as recognised by ACECQA
Proof of assessment by ACECQA for all overseas qualifications
Must have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Current working with children, check
Double Covid19 Vaccination
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate or willingness to obtain
National police clearance
The successful applicant may be required to undergo and pass: A preemployment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Your Primary Responsibilities will include:

Establishing, nurturing, and fostering collaborative partnerships with families and communities to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children
Partaking in professional performance and practice strategies to improve performance capabilities and further professional learning
Engaging in shared, sustained interactions with children to build warm and trusting relationships
Working collaboratively with the Centre Director to create and implement individualised learning plans
Complete curriculum planning and reflection
