_Maintenance Officer - Part Time, 25hrs _


The Australian Trade Training College is a large private RTO with three Campuses located on the North and Southside of Brisbane and one Campus in Toowoomba.


Each Campus has a large technical training facility where VET in School students, Apprentices and trade program participants are trained in a replicated workplace environments.


As an RTO, we are in continuous growth and have an exciting opportunity for a part time Maintenance Officer to join our team.

The role will work across the three Campuses of Brendale, Banyo and Meadowbrook.

Reporting to the Campus Coordinator, this is a great chance to join a supportive team and work in a well-established organisation.

Required Skills:


  • Some demonstrated experience in different types of basic maintenance work
  • Working knowledge of standard machines and tools, including their uses and repair
  • Knowledge of WHS with a focus on safety
  • Friendly, energetic and a good verbal communicator
  • Basic computer skills
  • Be resourceful, flexible, and selfmotived to work independently
  • Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work
  • Hold a valid driver licence

Job Role:


  • Carry out a wide range of entry level maintenance across the campuses
  • Work, Health and Safety identify and respond to safety risks and hazards
  • Assist with rooM/Facilities set up for events, graduations etc
  • Equipment and Tool Inventories maintained
  • Yard / Ground maintenance
  • Furniture / equipment relocation
  • Cleaning of fleet vehicles as required
