About the Company


Our client is a highly respected financial services organisation with a skilled team of specialists that are committed to acting in the best interests of its clients.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Consultant Trustee Investments professional who will support the Trustee & Wealth Services Investments team fiduciary account in adherence to the client's investment governance framework while building and maintaining relationships with co-trustees and beneficiaries as the business continues to grow and transform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the initial Investment Plan/Prudent Person Review of the trust based on the objectives of the beneficiary in adherence to the client's Investment Governance Framework;
  • Oversee the Annual Portfolio Reviews/Prudent Person Reviews of the investment strategy ensuring objectives of the trust are met;
  • Present as a governance/vetting role on fiduciary accounts as advised by a financial adviser;
  • Support the Trustee & Wealth Services National Manager with process integrations;
  • Collaborate with the Trust Managers with Co-Trustee and Beneficiaries on their trust investments to enhance client engagements; AND
  • Support the growth of the team through knowledge sharing and advocate team culture and values.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or related field is essential;
  • Post graduation qualified in CFP or FINSIA and RG146 Compliant highly preferred;
  • 35 years' experience in the Trustee, Financial Advice or Funds Management industry;
  • Strong understanding of Trust Law in each state and prudent person principles as well as changing legislative landscapes of Trustee, Philanthropy, and Advice industries;
  • Solid financial modellling skills and background with Xplan and JIRA software solutions; AND
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
