scouted. is very excited to once again be recruiting for this dynamic, successful, and progressive private property developer with a growing presence across both commercial and industrial asset classes. This role will grow with the business and provide plenty of opportunity to work across all facets of property development. With hands on support of an awesome SDM and the Company Directors themselves, you will have the opportunity to work across the entire lifecycle of several well-positioned, exciting, and design-focused commercial and industrial developments in Melbourne's key inner suburb locations.


This role will require the expertise of a well experienced ADM, ready to move into a DM position OR a fully-fledged DM capable of handling the complexity of the full life cycle within commercial/industrial (business parks) spaces.


Your responsibilities:

With absolute full exposure to all stages of the development cycle; acquisition, feasibility, design, construction, delivery, and marketing, your responsibilities will include some of the following:

  • Managing a project team of consultants to deliver outcomes necessary to produce high-quality developments ie. manage construction programme and contract administration
  • Monitoring all aspects of the development process from project due diligence and acquisitions, feasibility, design, approvals, sales & marketing, through to delivery
  • Exercise due professional skill to ensure that all projects are completed within the nominated time, budget, and quality.
  • Prepare regular project reports advising management on the status of key development progress and required actions.
  • Identify cost savings and add value to projects and coordinate the tender process

About you:


  • University qualifications in Property related discipline such as Bachelor in Property & Construction, Engineering or Architecture
  • Track record and solid experience in commercial and/or industrial as a Development Manager or Assistant Development Manager
  • Persuasive communication skills, analytical personality, thoroughness, organisation skills, flexible nature, and innovative in problemsolving.
  • Team oriented is a Number 1 Priority
