Description

Our Federal Government Agency seeks to engage an IT Change Manager with excellent communications skills and demonstrated experience in IT change for an IT modernisation project.

Responsibilities:

Provide change management expertise to IT and business areas.
Facilitate identification of change impacts; develop plans & actions to mitigate the impact of change on internal and external stakeholders.
Support senior staff, change leaders & sponsors to champion and communicate the anticipated changes.
Develop and maintain key collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Make and communicate decisions using good judgement, expertise and knowledge, governed by legislation, regulations, best practice principles / relevant operating instructions and procedures.
Develop, implement and deliver multichannel, usercentred change communication strategies, transition materials and activity plans
Design and deliver change communication needs discovery sessions and analyse the change communication needs. Create, edit and refine change communication materials

Essential Experience:

Understand Agile project delivery framework and have experience in managing IT change within an Agile project or Program.
Experience in a similar role in a complex IT environment operating in a multidisciplinary team
Experience working with Program Managers and Product Owners translating technical requirements into business processes.
Capability to develop reports/ dashboards
Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and key stakeholders.
Experience using change methodology, Prosci.

Job Details:

Start ASAP to 30 June 2025 with 2x12 months extensions on offer
Locations: ACT, QLD, SA, VIC
You must be an
Australian Citizen & hold or be able to obtain a Baseline
Security Clearance
