    The Company

    Our client, a manufacturing organization, is a world leader in producing highly complex systems, which are interfaced with high precision machinery. They are known for providing innovative & flexible solutions to a range of global clientele.

    The Role

    Reporting to the Software Team Lead, you will be a pivotal member of the Core Software team whilst working across other engineering functions and your responsibilities will include:

    • Liaise with Product Managers, BDMs and customers during the preliminary design stage to accurately determine requirements from a technical perspective.
    • Work closely with the Product Owner to create and refine the product backlog through writing and estimating user stories.
    • Provide Applications Software Engineers, Field Application Engineers, Product Managers, and Sales Personal with in-depth knowledge of features and workflows within developed Core Software products.
    • Improve readability, reduce complexity and improve maintainability of the code base.
    • Support Filed Application Engineers and Aftermarket Technicians with diagnostic procedures for root causing field issues relating to Core Software products.
    • Provide pre-sales assistance to Sales Personal and Field Application Engineers.

    Your Background/Experience

    • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
    • Minimum 6 years' experience developing with C/C++ (experience also with C# is favorable but not essential).
    • Strong kinematics background.
    • Strong exposure to application architecture and design patterns.
    • Familiarity with .Net UI frameworks eg. WPF, WinForms, Xamarin, Maui etc.
