We're looking for a Financial Analyst to provide real time financial support and advice to our managers across the business, becoming a trusted financial advisor.

You will be responsible for providing management accounting and reporting for products across all business units within APT Travel Group.

In addition, you'll provide general accounting support for below margin accounts and supporting the planning and forecasting process.


THE ROLE

Responsibilities include:


  • Preparation of monthly P&L reports and supporting margin analysis
  • Review of below margin accounts
  • Preparation of GLrecs for touring accruals, prepayments and other accounts
  • Preparation of sales reconciliation
  • Assisting in the preparation of budget and forecast submissions and reporting
  • Identifying opportunities to improve ways of working and improve processes

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Have the ability to collect, organise, visualise and see patterns in data. Think critically in order to solve problems.
  • Ability to analyse and clearly communicate financial information.
  • Strong relationships building skills with a focus on delivering customer centric solutions
  • Strong organisation skills, effectively managing own time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Degree qualified with a major in accounting. CA/CPA qualification preferred
  • Experience in a similar role with a focus on management accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in ERP systems
