Job Description

This role requires a strong blend of leadership, sales acumen, customer service focus, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and guide their team to achieve sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service and ensuring the smooth running of the Melbourne branch.

Leadership and Sales:

Leads and manages the Melbourne team's day-to-day operations.
Achieves regional sales targets by acquiring new business and growing existing accounts.
Manages the local branch's profit and loss (P&L) statement.
Develop the capabilities of the sales office team to enable the achievement of agreed goals

Customer Service and Reputation:

Demonstrates the company customer service vision and values to internal and external customers to maintain and improve the brand reputation in the Melbourne market
Commitment to consistent delivery of quality product and service to customers to ensure continue preferred supplier status

Operations and Compliance:

Oversees all operational aspects of the Melbourne office, ensuring they are aligned with company policies.
Ensures the office complies with all local and regional regulations.
Maintains clear and timely communication between the Melbourne office and the head office.

Qualifications

Staff supervision experience, bility to lead and motivate subordinates and lead by example.
Previous Sales Management Experience.
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or A-Dip Mech Eng with HVAC background/experience/ Trade background preferred.
AIRAH or ASHRAE certifications or registrations a plus.
Mathematical and reasoning skills to Engineering level.
High degree of technical aptitude.
Technical sales experience, 5 years plus.
