THE CLIENT:

Our client is a leading provider of custom home designs and construction services, dedicated to delivering exceptional design outcomes and unparalleled customer experiences. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, they strive to exceed their clients' expectations with every project they undertake.

As the Interior Design Team Leader, you will lead a team of talented Interior Designers, mentoring, training, and developing them to achieve exceptional design outcomes while adhering to project briefs and budgets.

THE ROLE:

Recruit, mentor, train, and lead a team of Interior Designers to deliver outstanding design outcomes.
Work closely with the Project Management team to schedule key interior design activities and oversee project execution.
Conduct thorough interior design brief meetings with clients to establish requirements and budgets.
Develop innovative interior design concepts, material palettes, and finishes to meet client briefs.
Coordinate appointments and assist clients in selecting fixtures, materials, and finishes.
Review and document design packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials and services.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation in design practices.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
Proven experience in leading interior design teams and delivering exceptional design outcomes.
Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of interior design.
