The Opportunity.

Visy Retail Services is a leading supplier & distributor of major brand hardware & retail products throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom; and a strategic partner to one of Australasia's largest retailers.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Sales Area Manager to join our Western Australia team.

Enjoy a Monday to Friday working week and use of a Company Vehicle.

About the Role.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager and working as part of a high achieving and experienced team, your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the State Sales Manager with overseeing the team's day-to-day activities including refit and sales
Providing coaching and mentoring to the WA sales team, upskilling their capabilities and driving sales
Managing your own portfolio of retail stores to Visy Retail standards
Being the 'face' of our brands and providing superior customer service to our client group
Building strong relationships with instore stakeholders

What you will bring to the team

An inspiring leader, with a handson management style
An understanding of best practice customer service and sales principles
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Highly motivated and results oriented leader
The ability to manage competing priorities
A positive, professional and 'can do' attitude
Proven working experience in big box retail (highly regarded)
Experience working with hardware, homewares, furniture or related product categories (highly regarded)
