The Novated Leasing Product Manager's role is to provide the vision, leadership and overall ownership of Novated Leasing throughout the product lifecycle.

This role will work with the business and our existing novated leasing offering to determine customer needs and wants as it relates to leasing, the product design and features and then determine how the product is delivered through our operational and sales teams.


Central to the requirements of this Leadership position is to bring a balanced 'product focus' to senior management to enable the business to understand the opportunities, issues and options to drive the product forward in support of the MMS and GRS strategy.

Product Delivery and Development

  • Assume overall ownership of the Novated Lease product from end to end and actively participate in all decisionmaking process that may impact the product function.
  • Create and Maintain the Novated Leasing product strategy which executes against our strategic ambitions to retain our leadership position in the Novated Leasing category
  • Continually review, assess and identify opportunities within our existing novated leasing product lifecycle that will improve the customer experience, drive competitive advantage, reduce ongoing operational costs and improve commercial business outcomes
  • Envision, design and launch new product features that will drive business growth, aligned to our overall business objectives
  • Develop the Novated Lease product roadmap ensuring alignment of priorities and initiatives across the GRS business unit
  • Partner with other product managers and business units, and where necessary lead, the development of product and service solutions which ultimately monetise the investment in our strategy
  • Assist the Procurement Manager with an assessment and selection of product partners as required
  • Provide regular reporting on our product development progress to Senior Management, Group Executive Team and the Board as required
  • Engage with policy makers, key clients and other external stakeholders of relevance including industry peak bodies as required during the product development cycle
  • Assist with the preparation of submissions to/by peak bodies with whom we work as required
  • Build business cases, including financials and technical requirements to support product development
  • Lead cross functional product implementation, bringing Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Digital and IT teams together to ensure ideas are well executed, provide great customer experiences and contribute to the group's overall objectives

You will bring:

  • Strong depth of the product development and portfolio management process
  • Be an excellent communicator and understand that being a Product Manager is being a translator, influencer and negotiator
  • Minimum of 3 years' Senior Product Manager experience
