The diverse and talented staff in the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) play a central role in achieving ECU's vision, and in designing and implementing future-oriented teaching and learning strategies.

With its base at the Joondalup Campus, the CLT delivers a comprehensive suite of services and programmes on campus and online that promote high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students and academic staff.


THE ROLE

The CLT is seeking an Educational Projects and Communications Lead to support business improvement through development and coordination of projects as well as the development and management of staff and student communications from CLT.


The Educational Projects and Communications Lead will be accountable for the successful scoping, planning, and evaluation of projects related to the work of the Centre for Learning and Teaching.

The role will work closely with key stakeholders, including the CLT Leadership team and learning and teaching leaders across the University, to implement evidence-based innovative programs, services and business strategies that address the needs of staff and students to be successful in learning and teaching.

Capabilities


Masters or higher qualification in a relevant discipline with substantial extension of the theories and principles, learned through experience; or a range of management experience; or postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.

Demonstrated ability in project management including projects managing process improvement.


Understanding of the internal and external forces affecting higher education, including the identification of new developments to influence the learning and teaching experience.


Experience in a leadership role with evidence of leading the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs and projects focussed on continuous improvement.

Demonstrated proficiency and experience in working in a multi team environment to achieve seamless services to stakeholders.


Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage collegially and effectively with colleagues at all levels of the University, academic and professional, and the ability to negotiate effectively with all stakeholders.


You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence, and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $106,877 to $120,376 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
