***: The Manager, Reporting and Governance team will lead the VHBA PMO Reporting and Governance team to enable consistent and quality delivery of Internal Reporting and Assurance process alignment to the governance principles as set in the VHBA Project Management Framework. The position will manage and provide guidance to the team working collaboratively across the External Reporting and Capability and Standards Functions.

The role will oversee the coordination, quality assurance and delivery of Monthly Project and Program Status Reporting across all VHBA portfolio's; the coordination of assurance functions including Internal Gating and Change Management; assist in the preparation of external reports, memorandums, and briefs; and any other project management tasks as required.

The position engages effective stakeholder management, strategic thinking, research and analysis, project and contract management, and associated implementation activities. The position will lead key initiatives and innovation across the Reporting and Governance function as required.

  • A Someone with a strong background leading effective stakeholder relations and business processes, with solid change management experience.
  • Adaptable in managing a varied workload with competing priorities and have strong attention to detail to ensure quality and timely outputs?

Accountabilities:


  • Strategically design and develop the delivery of departmental objectives related to reporting and governance that impact significant localised service delivery and meet departmental and government objectives and management frameworks
  • Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present a range of executive and corporate support activities such as the preparation and/or coordination of meeting papers, briefings, correspondence, interdepartmental and/or departmental stakeholder responses and Ministerial requests in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
  • Lead and manage improvement opportunities and work collaboratively in the development of
- continuous improvement systems and processes.

  • Provide strategic thinking and future planning and oversee change management initiatives and
- integrated approaches to enhance compliance with department-wide policies.

  • Provide expert advice on operational impact of change considering people's roles and
- responsibilities, processes, training needs and operational support.
