  • Hold accountability for the development and maintenance of policy and procedure frameworks under which the department manages applicants for discretionary grants
  • Full time, Ongoing VPS 6 Position
  • Melbourne CBD/Hybrid Working Arrangements

How you'll make a difference:


As Manager, Business Frameworks, you will lead a small team to coordinate and lead responses to new and emerging issues and risks relating to grants administration and business rule development and management.

The role involves developing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and a range of program and policy areas within the department.

The successful applicant will demonstrate sound leadership and people management skills, as well as an ability to influence others to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the Victorian health workforces and improve outcomes for Victorians.


Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

The ability to identify emerging issues, risk and trends impacting on the successful achievement of key business objectives and imperatives and provide high quality business intelligence and sound recommendations based on comprehensive research and investigations

  • Strong critical analysis and reporting skills, high attention to detail, excellent writing skills and experience in managing stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of managing grant programs is desirable but not essential
