The Production Planner will be responsible for meeting customer demands whilst also considering production efficiencies and maintaining optimum inventory levels.

The role will ensure the efficient execution of ordering and delivery of raw materials to meet production requirements using the MRP functionality in SAP.

About the role

Produce an achievable and dynamic Detailed Schedule that takes into account customer requirements, production efficiencies and availability of raw material
Keep up to date the Supply Issues log, making sure the information provided is up to date, accurate and timely
Monitor schedule adherence daily and liaise with Production for corrective action when adherence not met. Conduct root cause analysis and report
Support the NPD process by attending the project meetings, setting up new materials and scheduling initial production runs
Ensure raw materials are available for production as and when required

About you

Knowledge of S&OP and/or IBP practices
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes
Experience in FMCG environment
Demonstrated experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning or related disciplines
Good collaboration skills in order to work across all layers of country, sales and supply organizations
