About the role


Mater has an exciting opportunity for
a Business Support Lead to join the
Mater at Home Team, this role be offered on
a permanent, full-time basis.


The purpose of the Business Support Lead position is to provide business support to the Mater at Home leadership team and to oversee a high functioning and professional front and back of house team, that supports the delivery of high-quality care to consumers.


The position will work with the Director Mater at Home to monitor and review functions, processes and procedures to ensure these are efficient, cost-effective and achieve the stated goals and key performance indicators.


Salary range:
$ $43.90 (MCAS4) per hour plus superannuation + salary packaging access up to $15,900


What you'll be doing

  • Provide general business support services to Mater at Home including administration and coordination support for the Mater at Home leadership team.
  • Support optimisation of resources to deliver on KPIs, business operations and service delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate timely and accurate information flow, data collection and reporting.
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders and build effective relationships to deliver highquality services to leaders, team members, patients and consumers and other parties.
  • Provide high quality administrative support in preparing reports, documents, meeting minutes, proposals or requests for information.
  • Provide administrative support for information management through sound recordkeeping and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
  • Oversight of the Mater at Home vehicle fleet ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Mater Group Finance services in relation to revenue management, invoicing and debt recovery.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to the Front and Back of House Teams. Oversee and coordinate the daily administrative requirements for the service.
  • Effectively manage staffing resources including rostering, workload allocation, resource allocation and the Kronos rostering system within the established department.
  • Supervise and train staff to provide efficient and effective Front and Back of House support functions.
  • Consider budget parameters when coordinating work activity supported by the Director Mater at Home.

About you

Desirable:

  • Certification / Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or similar (regarded).

Other:

  • Demonstrated experience in business support or office coordination at a senior and professional level in a large, complex industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering processes and systems improvements to support greater collaboration and customerservice orientation in the delivery of business and administration support services.
  • Prior experience and exposure to change management.
  • Knowledge of project management and business improvement processes.
  • Knowledge of/ the ability to learn to use hospital computer database programs and systems and health information systems.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and support a customerfocused environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, seniority and experiences.
