About the Role
Deliver cancer genetic counselling services within Dermatology Familial Melanoma Clinic pursuant to policies and practices adopted by Queensland Health.

Promote, through community education and liaison, the purpose and availability of cancer genetic counselling services, particularly within the State of Queensland.

Additionally, design, analyse and write up research papers based on the outcomes of the Familial Melanoma Clinic.


This includes:


  • Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within a multidisciplinary context.
  • Clinical education, supervision of observational students and allied health assistants, and assistance with supervision of undergraduate students.
  • Participation and contribution to quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
