    Savanna has an opportunity for an experienced, safety focused, Electrician to join our newly created growing Project team based in Toowoomba.

    • To apply, you should have:

  • A Trade qualification with a Certificate III or IV in electrical instrumentation;
  • Current C (car) class driver's licence. HR License and advantage.
  • EEHA qualified
  • Be able to work outdoors and in remote areas
  • Be in good physical condition
  • Minimum 3 years maintenance experience with exposure to computerised maintenance systems
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings
  • Previous Coal Seam Gas (On-Shore) Industry experience (Preferred however, not essential)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work cohesively with other company departments

    • What you'll be doing:

    As an Electrician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, testing, inspecting, preparing and commissioning rig electrical equipment and systems whilst adhering to the appropriate quality, safety and legislative standards.

  • Provide effective support and work as part of a project Team
  • Work with Savanna's computerised maintenance management system MEX to carry out scheduled work and maintenance
  • Complete workorders on MEX for all work undertaken to ensure efficiency and traceability
  • Always work safely and ensure compliance with permit to work system and company policies.
  • Work within the scope of your trade qualification
  • Keep abreast of changes in industry standards and regulations
