Tasks and Qualifications:

The Role:

We have a brand new opportunity for a motivated and experienced
Maintenance Technician with an Industrial Electrical background OR a Mechanical Fitter to join our supportive and friendly team at our new customer site based at
Veradilla (not far from Toowoomba, QLD).

You must be happy to work in a cold environment and work independently.
This is a hands on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer focused individual. This role will help to deliver support - including contract repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/problem solving and ordering spare parts.

This is a
Monday - Friday role / 7.00 am pm (38 hr week) with the flexibility to do some overtime when required.

What We Are Looking For

In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults, be customer focused and ensure high quality service and output is delivered.

-
Australian Electrical trade licence or Mechanical trade with restricted licence

Experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems
Computerised maintenance systems experience (MEX) is ideal
Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment would be highly regarded, but no essential
Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS) and pneumatic systems
Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven
Strong understanding of OHS requirements and adopt safe work practices
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships
