Qantas Loyalty is a high performing business and has a history of launching exciting new brands and services that make a difference to its millions of Frequent Flyer and Business Rewards members.

Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Business Rewards remain at the core of the program, while the business has evolved to include a number of new ventures and other businesses such as Qantas Money, Qantas Insurance, Qantas Hotels & Holidays and Qantas Wine.

The Marketing Manager role manages the marketing activity that supports partners and commercial revenue targets for the Loyalty business.

This role will provide input into marketing strategies and planning that support marketing objectives and be responsible for the execution and delivery of the activity associated with marketing campaigns.

Working closely with the Marketing Leadership team, the Qantas Business Rewards Commercial team and partners to identify opportunities to drive growth.


Further to the above this role also manages the execution of launch plans for new partnerships, integrated partner campaign activity including creative development, project planning, media planning and stakeholder management, developing and delivering campaigns that meet business objectives and drive return on investment.

Tight campaign delivery and timely communication with all internal and external customers and stakeholders throughout the campaign development process is key.

Testing creative outcomes, optimising marketing channels, audience segmentation for targeted communications and evaluating and reporting on campaign activity to improve efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns will be essential in this role.


You'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Financial Services experience will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in crafting go to market launch strategies that assess product, audience, message, channels will be essential.
  • Management of endtoend through the line campaigns
  • 5+ years' experience in critically reviewing marketing collateral to determine fit with brand and ensure they are commercially and legally sound. Sound analytical and reporting skills. Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal commercial and product stakeholders, and external clients/agencies/partners. Experience in dealing with Legal and in understanding and communicating legal and commercial constraints to partners. Negotiation skills balancing Loyalty objectives and the member proposition for successful outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executive levels of external partners
