Joining the Data Technology team as part of IT as the largest department at the Bank, you can focus on achieving great outcomes and performing at your best, knowing you are surrounded by capable, intelligent, and experienced people who are approachable and generous with their time.


As the BI Implementation Specialist you will drive the planning, analysis, delivery, support and ownership of BAU and project initiatives to achieve the Bank's data management standards, strategies and business benefits.

Working collaboratively across the organisation you will embed, influence and lead change created by BAU initiatives and projects that impact processes, people and systems in relation to BI and Data Management best practises.

This role is a secondment until February 2025.


Your background- Experience in maintaining and influencing effective working relationships with IT and business stakeholders at all levels.- Elicit, analyse, document, communicate, and manage business requirements.- Prepare ongoing reviews and evaluation of business and technical processes, and develop optimisation strategies.- Identify and manage risks and issues, developing plans to mitigate risk and implementing these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.- Ensure best efforts are made to gain ongoing adoption from end users.- Create models, conceptual prototypes, mock-ups and business and technical specifications.- Translate business, strategic, technical and complex information concisely for diverse audiences.- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM team working with mínimal supervision.- Some experience and skills in Power BI, Cloudera, Tableau, SQL, R, Python, Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, Pivot Tables, and Excel.- Some understanding of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence concepts, industry trends, technologies and best practices as well as an awareness of current data architecture and infrastructures.

Your team

You will be a part of the Data Technology team as part of the broader IT department.

Reporting to the BI Team Lead you will get to work and collaborate with specialists in Data Development and Implementation.
