Technology is an inherent part of enabling the Reserve Bank of Australia's policy and operational objectives.
With the country depending upon our systems being secure, highly resilient and efficient, you will work within the Bank's Information Technology (IT) department and experience the capability-building opportunity to work with Australia's most critical core IT platforms.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Configure Monitoring for Networks and System Applications Devices using a variety of Enterprise tools.
- Analyse alerts trends and propose changes to improve response to events.
- Continually improve the effectiveness and effectiveness of IT systems by IT operations.
- Investigate available hardware and/or software and recommending appropriate acquisitions for use by IT Operations.
- Programming and Automation using Enterprise Scheduler tool.
- Provide technical consultation to Operators and undertaking special assignment.
- Participate on Disaster Recovery Tests.
- There may be some outside hours support required on an adhoc basis.
To be successful in this critical role you will possess:
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience in configuring monitoring Tools.
- Experience in configuring Enterprise Scheduler Tools.
- Experience in working with Data Centre Management Tools (DCIM).
- Experience in API configuration.
- Experience in scripting languages
- PowerShell or Python.
- Knowledge of AIOps
- Desirable.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Desirable.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Desirable.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Desirable
