About the RoleWorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our civil and mining client in their Perth office on a Monday to Friday basis.
This role will be focussing on a large metro civil project in Perth.Duties include (but not limited to):
Receive and quality check incoming drawings and document transmittals from client, designers, subcontractors and other personnel as required
Sending Document transmittals to Clients & subcontractors via EDMS
Administration of Electronic Document Management System
Issuing of technical queries, receiving, and distributing responses from client and close out
Update clients registers with documents received and sent
Submit daily and monthly reports to the client
Issue letters to the client and update the incoming and outgoing letter register
Create and update master files for all drawings
Maintain & Update project specific procedures and workflow charts
Provide advice on procedures and recommendations for improvement
Skills and Experience
Previous experience working as a Document Controller
Civil construction and/or mining industry experience
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (preferred)
Strong data entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills, bother verbal and written
Attention to details
Right to work in Australia
