About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager at our Wacol Branch who has the expertise to lead this function and successfully promote staff engagement.

This is a role that you can get your teeth into for all the right reasons with safety, people management, process improvement and WMS utilisation as the top priorities.

Success in performance, productivity, effectiveness and profitability of the branch will come from the provision and implementation of effective operational initiatives.

Under the guidance of an experienced Branch Manager who themselves are keen to pay it forward and invest in the next generation of leaders.

Some of what you will be doing:

Achieving personal, as well as operational team targets and KPIs
Leading, coaching, mentoring, and managing your operational team to provide exceptional customer service and positive outcomes
Working with managers and team members to identify opportunities for improvement, creating action plans and receiving commitments to ensure outcomes/results are achieved
To control the activities of Operations in a costeffective manner.
To oversee efficient employee and vehicle daily programming for local, interstate, and international removals.
To ensure that all relevant systems and documentation are accurate, precise, and complete, within the WMS
To ensure briefing and debriefing of crews occur in a timely manner
Manage operational service delivery issues to resolution

About you:

Do you have exposure to the removals industry?
Have you demonstrated success in operations and mentoring others?
Do you have a handson approach that successfully oversees and assists with the daytoday management of frontline staff.
Do you have the ability to think outside the box, try new things and find efficiencies?

Your commercial acumen means you understand what's needed to support a successful business
Sound operational understanding that can juggle labour, inventory, equipment, warehousing, purchasing and the forward thinking to keep on top of it all
