National Skin Cancer Centres (NSCC), a network of unique medical practices, purpose-built and dedicated to delivering skin cancer services and management of other skin conditions.

For our clinic at Gilles Plains, we are seeking an experienced Practice Manager with a background in Healthcare who is ready to join our progressive company with a great network of managers.


The Role


This is the perfect role for an experienced Practice Manager with the skills to facilitate change, develop initiatives and delegate within a vibrant and effective team.

Supported by a dedicated Practice Coordinator and Area Manager, you will lead the team at the North East Skin Cancer Centre.

Your key responsibilities will be to lead and mentor the team, grow the business and oversee the day-to-day operation of the clinic.


This role is part time role with availability required for 3 days, the clinics current operating hours are Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.

00pm and

Saturdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm

Key responsibilities for this role include;

  • Manage, support and mentor the team to ensure smooth operations
  • Drive productivity and efficiency within the clinic
  • Lead patient customer service excellence
  • Onboard and train new team members
  • Provide reception support as required
  • Active participation in marketing initiatives
  • Account and budget management

Your Background/ Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Practice Manager role or similar role within the Healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills with a high attention to detail
  • Experience using practice management software is desirable
  • Strong customer service skills and understanding of the ethos of patient care
  • Ability to manage key expenses in line with the budget and focus on achieving KPIs
  • Brilliant people management skills and the ability to drive a positive team culture
  • Ability to engage, motivate and manage team members to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Experience in onboarding, training and rostering team members and the onboarding of new doctors
  • Mindset for business development, innovation and growth
  • Authorised to work in Australia
