About the role


SCEE Electrical has a position available for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team in our BHP Newman projects on a full-time basis.

The current roster is 2:1 and the position is FIFO from Perth, WA


Key responsibilities include:


  • Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work
  • Plan activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies
  • Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract
  • Understanding of risk management, quality assurance and control
  • Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions
  • Participate in Quality Assurance audits
  • Liaise with client and contractor representatives
  • Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to

About you
To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in an Electrical Supervisory position
  • BHP Inductions and WHS Statutory Supervisor training (Schedule 26) are highly desirable
  • Hold a Grade A WA Electrical Licence
  • Hold LVR CPR certificate
  • A high level of commitment to safety
  • Leadership skills
  • Sound negotiation and dispute resolution skills
  • Experience with contractual compliance and client liaising
  • Desire to continually improve
  • Hold a Construction White Card
  • Covid 19 vaccination certificate 2 doses
