The works form part of BHP/BMA's Project Australia wide Village Security Improvement program. Multiple positions available for competent

Electrical

Trade Assistants across 3 sites located in the Bowen Basin, QLD.

The work includes the installation of additional lighting, security cameras, Fibre Optic Cabling, duress alarms and electronic access systems. Completion of site works / systems commissioning is scheduled for March 2024.

Training provided, if required, for any mandatory certifications:

  • Permanent full-time position
  • Immediate start

Your role will include:


  • Installation of cable pathways (conduit systems)
  • Installation of equipment security panels, cameras, duress alarms, headend equipment etc
  • Installation of fibre and cat 6 cabling,
  • Movement of equipment and materials around site/s
  • General labouring and cleaning activities as required.

Key requirements for this project are:

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • FIFO experience preferred, however, not essential.


  • Current Australian License

  • HR preferred
  • Telehandler Operator preferred
  • Construction White Card
  • Working at Heights (within 2 years)
  • Strong safety culture
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
