Join us in our Sydney office as a Social Operations Lead - News and Sport Reporting to the Head of Social - News and Sport, you'll spearhead content scheduling and delivery across our News, Current Affairs, and Sport teams.

Maximise content reach and revenue while collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and engaging content delivery.

This dynamic role calls for effective teamwork and stakeholder coordination, offering a thrilling opportunity to drive social media strategy and content optimization.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute content schedule and report to stakeholders.
  • Develop social media strategy for news and sport brands.
  • Manage all social platforms for news and sport.
  • Collaborate with producers and reporters for quality content.
  • Maximise audience reach and engagement.
  • Implement brand campaigns and share insights.

Qualifications
What we would like to see on your resume:

  • Superior knowledge of social media platforms, analytics and insights functions, as well as knowledge of algorithms and ability to develop best practices.
  • Superior knowledge of emerging social and marketing trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Prior experience in broadcast news and/or digital news
  • Prior experience in a team leadership position
  • A genuine interest in daily news, current affairs and sport
  • Ability to analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of content and audience sentiment
