Job Description:


The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is a division of the wider Publishing business within Nine Digital, specialising in driving digital operations and strategic initiatives.

Our mission is to deliver expertise, information and tools that enhance business strategy and decision making to drive an accountable, performance focused culture.

We partner with all departments across the digital business and work closely with the Nine executive team to grow revenue and optimise performance.


Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will provide decision support for the business and provide insightful reporting & analysis to influence strategic business decisions.


Day to day you will:

  • Own and deliver the weekly revenue report tracking, revenue and net revenue for the business.
  • Ensure both internal and external reporting is completed accurately, delivered on time and is inclusive of insights and recommendations.
  • Own the month end expense accruals (nonstandard), variance analysis / commentary and reporting to the SLT and other stakeholders
  • Prepare and publish general FP&A reporting as required and respond and support ad hoc requests from stakeholders

Qualifications:


You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively shares skills and knowledge with others.

You will be proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way, allowing you to build strong relationships.

What we would like to see on your resume:

  • An Undergraduate degree with a major in accounting
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (written & verbal)
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver on multiple priorities in the required time;
  • Developed skills in data analysis and modelling
  • Experience in reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • CA/CPA qualified preferred but not essential
  • Experience with TM1/Cognos system would be beneficial, but is not essential
