Reporting to Facilities Lead, this is a pivotal role within the Service Delivery Portfolio.
As the Facilities Management Coordinator you will be responsible for:
assessing, planning, and implementing cost-effective and quality services for Melbourne Water Facilities.
- Engagement with service providers to ensure all building maintenance, compliance, and ESM activities are delivered effectively.
- Management of the service request process and triage corrective maintenance and breakdown work orders.
- Supervise contractors in minor capital maintenance and capital works projects, identifying key safety, quality, environmental, and commercial risks.
- Drive exceptional performance, improving coordination activities across operations, maintenance, and minor capital works.
- Support a culture of Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
- A valid Driver's Licence is required as this role requires occasional travel.
About you:
- Ability to Deliver strong customer focused outcomes and building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven Facilities Management and building compliance experience
- Have working knowledge of Essential Safety Measures (ESM), Victorian building codes and regulations, Australian Standards, OH&S legislation
- You have great time management skills and can work autonomously
You will be required on occasions to travel to other Melbourne Water locations and will have access to an operational Pool vehicle.
