The Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader, Southern Operations Water Supply.

You will work as part of the Southern Operations team to ensure there is ongoing compliance with Worksafe Major Hazard Facility (MHF).

A key focus of the role will be on the preparation of the 5 yearly Safety Case for MHF relicensing with WorkSafe.

The role will include control performance monitoring and review, reporting and liaison with WorkSafe, as well as key internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting time to step into this role with the relicensing process well underway, yet still with plenty of opportunity to contribute and to guide the Safety Case development.


Your experience within an Engineering, Science ,Process Safety or relevant technical environment will see you succeed within the role, and play a vital part of the wider Water Supply team.


Your Skills and Experience:


  • Outstanding analytical skills and an ability to pursue agreed objectives and use sound problem solving skills to overcome obstacles.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a range of tasks concurrently, and to produce high quality work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven expertise in data management including trend analysis and presentation of information.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Safety and/or Quality Management Systems


Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required together with a Tertiary Qualification in Science, Engineering or relevant equivalent or extensive prior experience, along with a valid Victorian Driver's License.
