We are seeking a passionate Human Resources Advisor to complement our People and Performance team.

Working collaboratively to achieve this Vision, our People and Performance team are trusted HR practioners, advisors and strategic partners to the business.

They are responsible for delivering effective strategic and operational employee relations (ER), industrial relations (IR) and talent acquisition (TA) services that are grounded in HR best practice, our organisational Values and legislative framework.

The team is filled with talented and passionate individuals who are committed to working together and with the business to achieve its goals and objectives.


About the Opportunity


The Human Resources Advisor is a true generalist role where you will have opportunity to work across all facets of the human resources lifecycle.

You will support the team in the provision of first line customer service and advice to our people regarding all people and performance functions, as well as undertake human resources administration, and process improvement.


In this role you will coordinate Council's Work Experience, Fitness Passport, and FutureGen programs, and support administration and coordination of the Consultative Committee meetings.


  • Permanent, Full-Time
  • Full time equivalent salary is from
    $76,264.60$88,364.

17 per annum plus 11% superannuation:

About you


We're looking for someone who will share in achieving our Vision, you are people-centric and an excellent communicator, looking to grow and develop in your human resources career.

You have proven ability to establish strong and trusting relationships, with a commitment to excellent customer service, continuous improvement, and ethical principles and practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or related field, or working towards such qualifications and demonstrated experience.
  • You will bring high level organisation and time management skills, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, continuous improvement, learning, EEO, workplace health and safety and ethical principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of human resources functions and best practice, current market challenges and trends.
