- Casual ongoing assignment ($32.75 hour + super)
- Various locations across Melbourne
- Hands-on venepuncture experience is essential for a minimum of 6 months unsupervised not including placement hours
- Drug and alcohol testing is an advantage but not essential
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors
- Processing of Pathology Specimens
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clerical duties and basic IT skills
- High-level communication skills with colleagues and patients
- Ability to provide dedication to patient care
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Comply with Work Health and Safety
- Eligible to work within Australia - Sponsorship is not available
- Experience in blood collection (at least 6 months in Australia)
- Current Police Check
- AS4308 (Urine Drug Screen) Qualification would be an advantage
- Have a positive attitude
- Have a passion for Pathology Collection
- A clear and patient communicator
- Have a flexible approach to work and availability and be prepared to be deployed at different locations
- Good pay rates - $32.75 per hour + Super
