- A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant professional experience in asset, facilities, and property management
- A record of actively staying up to date with disciplinary knowledge and developments in asset, property, and facilities management
- Demonstrated experience engaging with professional bodies, and the broader industry, in relation to asset, property, and facilities management
- Experience in course design and delivery using a range of pedagogical approaches, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods (desired)
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills
- Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
- A record of innovation in education / disciplinary strategic initiatives and delivering exceptional student outcomes
- Demonstrated experience as a regional leader in asset and facilities management in NSW (evidenced by e.g. presentations, membership in respected professional organisations, professional advocacy etc)
- Demonstrated experience with industry or work-integrated learning
- Evidence of professional development of teaching practice in self and others with the ability to advance and lead an inclusive culture of excellence in learning and teaching
- Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills

The role of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Asset and Facilities Management will lead the design, delivery and review of Property and Facilities Management courses at UNSW Built Environment.
